Relay For Life "Cave" Sim

The Relay For Life (in SL, "SLRFL") is having it's annual fundraiser in SL! The event begins July 28th. SamBivalent Spork volunteered to build a whole sim for the event, and if you're here, you're looking for info on how to help! Thanks :)

Overview

The Theme of the sim is based off of "Journey To The Center Of The Earth" by Jules Verne. The theme of the Relay overall is a "Quest", our sim will reflect that theme.

Assembly of the sim will be a team effort, directed by SamBivalent Spork. We will need to be invited to the group to access the Relay sim for building. Sam will notify and arrange for group invites for the volunteers.

Sam watched the movie, and broke it up into stages/themes to model sections of our cave after. Each section will be different in design/type/theme of cave.

The build should take a relativly low amount of unique shapes to build. Lots of repetitions in the cave walls - one stage could be built with some 4-5 shapes... possibly.

Sam also hopes to build some backpacks and flashlights for people to pick up on the way in.

We will be using a heck of a lot of sculpties in this build. In fact, I'd like to venture that our team will break a record or two in using so many sculpties in one sim. Not everything will be sculptie of course, but the majority of shapes will be sculped prims.
Nearly all of the build will be an enclosed cave, with the exception of the entrance and exit. We'll be trying to make it large enough to not be claustrophobic or make moving the camera around difficult.
Below is an overview of the sim areas. Items/shapes/stuff that's needed are indicated here, you may pick and choose whatever shapes you might want to build/already have. These "needs" will be updated to reflect things that are already being worked on.
I'm finally now getting around to changing the "Needs" to "Haves"! Sorry for the delay, I didn't realize that maintaining the website and building at the same time would be a stretch :P

0) Structures! - Originally I had intended to have some cool theme park type structures in the build, then scrapped the idea... Now it has resurrected due to the offers to build the stuff!

1) Entrance - Is a volcano/tubelike structure (3/4 circle for our purposes) with a small entrance to the cave at the rear.
Have:
-Shapes to make up the volcano walls [Jam Ingmann, SamBivalent Spork]

Need:
-A light "shaft" pointing to the entrance

2) Falling Rocks - Area will be broad flat stones, very clifflike all around. There will also be an Indiana Jones-style boulder passing through this area (IJ stole it from this movie :P) Area will be fairly narrow with steep walls.
Have:
-Broad flat stone shapes [miraztutorials Voom, Glaston Harvey, Hidden Talents, SamBivalent Spork]
-Indiana Jones style boulder - scripted to pass through the area [Hidden Talents]
-A narrow path with a cliff edge to get from one end to the other [SamBivalent Spork]

3) Crystal Room - Will be filled with colorful crystals and gems, light colored cube-like stones for walls, and various waterfalls and pretty stuff.
Have:

-"Cubish" walls [SamBivalent Spork]

4) Salt - White tube-ish walls with sand floors, various tree-trunk shaped formations about the edges.
Have:
-Smoothish wall shapes, kinda ripply [SamBivalent Spork, Glaston Harvey, Hidden Talents]

Need:
-Stringy tree trunk like formations [miraztutorials Voom, SamBivalent Spork]

5) Mushrooms - Smoothish beige colored walls, lots of stalagmites/tites. Tons of giant mushrooms.
Have:

-Roundish smooth walls [SamBivalent Spork]
-Stalagmites, stalagtites [Glaston Harvey, SamBivalent Spork]
-Logs (for a raft under construction) [Glaston Harvey]

6) Underground Ocean - Will be a pretty dramatic, beautiful area. Giant blue cave, with water, lightning, and a whirlpool. Plus some giant lizards :D - There will be a walkable path across the water.
Have:

-Someone to handle landscaping of waterway [The Sojourner, Oldrome Yer, SamBivalent Spork]

7) Shore - Simple shore, (small area) big flat faces, steplike stones, leading into Atlantis.
Have:
-Steep cliff walls [Glaston Harvey, SamBivalent Spork]
-Shoreline stuff (small rocks etc) [Elzbiet Meili, Glaston Harvey, SamBivalent Spork]
-Giant Lizards! [Jam Ingmann, Max Whitehead]
-Step like stones leading to the Atlantis entrance [miraztutorials Voom, Glaston Harvey]

8) Atlantis! - Lots of pillars and stone ruins, assorted pottery and fancy miscellania. And a giant blue bowl...
Have:

-Pottery [Dorie Bernstein]
-Broad Flat Stone walls [Glaston Harvey, SamBivalent Spork]

Need:
-Giant Bowl [Hidden Talents - scripted(?)]

9) The Shaft - Is the way out of the cave. In the movie, the adventurers ride the giant bowl up a volcanic shaft to freedom. If time allows, I will script up the giant blue bowl as a "ride" out of the cave.
Have:

-Volcano exterior, similar to Entrance [Jam Ingmann]

Miscellaneous: There is a duck. :P
The duck acts a a sort of accidental "guide" in the story, we'll use the duck as a sort of guide in the sim. It will be placed somewhere in each area to tell a bit of the story (via signs and hovertext) and will help accomplish a bit of the overall "quest" theme stuff intended by the Relay.
The ducks name is Gertrude. :)
